    change ownership/permissions to HDD

    OS: Win7 ultimate + SP1 x64

I added 2 old HDD and I can write and delete files but there are things I cannot do with this drives like organize (move folders)
how can I change ownership/permissions for these 2 old drives?
I tried using annoyances' takeown and Mainz univ. chown and it didn't work.
Perhaps I'm not using these utils. correctly
I also tried changing permissions in the registry (HKLM\System\ControlSet001\Enum\SCSI\Disk&Ven_ATA...\properties (permissions) and failed.
    Please help

    problem solved.
just noticed the context menu generated by annoyances' takeownership (incorporating takeown and cacls) and it worked like hell!
Hats off to Mr. Karp (author of annoyances series)!
