    Fair enough where is the Device listed under what USB ? If it is a Device windows should detect it any how

    No, nothing from sugarsync yet.

    I had already explored "Device Manager - Finding Unknown Devices" without much luck.

    I have uninstalled sugarsync and rebooted and the unknown device is still there and now I'm having trouble reinstalling sugarsync. I downloaded it and get the message: is not a valid win32 app but I suppose I can live without for the time being.

    You could always try Dropbox . Wish i could suggest some thing else

    I already use Dropbox extensively, along with Sugarsync and several other Cloud platforms. All my data is in the Cloud because I need to access it from both my laptops, my tablet and my smartphone.
