Specific keyboard randomly disconnects but works on other computer

    Just got this , The keyboard worked for a few minutes (lights on etc..), then it started disconnecting and reconnecting, and I got this

    and my mouse also stopped moving (right click worked) (Razer Imperator mouse), I fixed my mouse by plugging him in and out, but no luck with my keybaord, My generic keyboard worked all along.

    Well I am thinking it has to be the keyboard itself or the software thatdrives it if the generic one works with no problems.

    I reckon you might have to send it back under warranty as we have just aboutcovered all angles here.

    I cannot remember seeing if it came with a software disk it should have donemost of the higher end KB's I have bought have their own software disks.
    I have just been through that site again and no mention of drivers just about using the correct cable (as if you wouldn't!) It does howevr mention something about thr FN key locking the device have a look at the pics to see what I mean.
    Otherwise call CM< or return the darn thing.

    The keyboard works when I connect it to another computer, The keyboard works just fine.
    The problem is when I connect this keyboard to this pc.
    I am using the correct cable.

    Yep Bear I got the OP to do a Speccy in post#24 but it would be handy to have say the Motherboard and peripherals stuff opened out

    Well I only meant those two items mate and the keyboard would stick out like dogs paws as in my pic.

    But I am gonna leave this one as I don't have much input I reckon.

    WEll I don't know Yupp you are having a problem with a Coolermaster KB yet the keyboard vendor in the specs mate is a French one??
