    memtest86 and memory assistance

alright so I have been getting BSOD for a while now and narrowed it down from driver error to memory problem. so i ran memtest86 and not even after the second pass i had over 30,000 errors. after doing some reading I went into my mobo and i change the frequency from auto target 1333 to manual 1333 that the only thing i changed everything else is auto since i'm new to tweaking anything in this area and not to sure and dont want to change things i dont understand too well. my ram is 4 sticks of 4gb corsair vengeance 1600MHZ. i'm running memtest now gonna leave it running while i'm at work today and see if their are any errors so far so good and im puzzled as to why this is.

and my mother board is a asus p9x79 deluxe 2011 socket

If MemTest has found that many errors you should remove three sticks of RAM and test the one left in, if that passes then test each subsequent stick on its own to find out which one is causing the issue.

I tested with all four sticks but i changed some settings what i did was run my ai overclock tuner on auto and it ran with errors then I manual switched the mhz to 1366 ran a test 9 and half hours no errors. left everything the same but changed the mhz to 1600 and errors. tried to run it in xmp and i got errors. your right I should test each stick but I ordered some new ram anyway I said screw it got 2 8 gbs sticks of crucial ballistix elite 1866. which came today and I only did a 20 min test and no errors which most of my errors were with in the first 5 to 10 minutes i will do more extensive test and let you guys know the result. thanks you
