eSata HD that is on prevents boot in BIOS

I have a SATA HD inserted in a mounting dock, which the dock is connected with an eSata cable to my desktop PC (custom build).

Everytime the dock is turned on with the HD in it, and my PC is in an off state, I turn the PC on and it just freezes at the ASROCK X58 bios logo. That's my mobo. If I turn the dock off, it boots fine.

I've already reset the BIOS settings, and it's running in AHCI mode in bios. I used to have overclock so I though it may be a factor but it isn't. Still does it. And the problem is not all the time. I'd say 80 percent of the time.

No clue how I can t/s this.

Is there an OS installed to this eSATA ? ?
    That would explain it...

No sir, just files. I reseated the esata cable on both sides, it seems to be doing better, however I'll keep an eye on it. Somehow I don't think it's the end of it.
