Formatting back to NTFS
I've been running my desktop on Ubuntu 13.04 for the past 6 months after my version of windows 7 corrupted and I didn't immediately have access to a new disk. Now that I have a Windows 7 Ultimate disk and have run it when I went to install I was told that it can't read the Hard drive and I need to format back to NTFS to read files, but it told me that if I insert the computers Driver disk it can do it itself. Problem is they are both disks. I have tried formatted from a Ubuntu live Cd using the Gparted software that comes with it, but I gave up after about an hour when it was still "scanning for devices" and I wasn't able to do anything. What I need is to do a Full format and I have access to a few usb's, a usb with Ubuntu 13, and my windows 8 laptop.
The computer I'm doing this on is a Dell inspiron 530 which has 1 HDD and an i2 quad.
