thats really only used for if you are going to sell the drive. it erases all the data on the drive, and tries to make it unrecoverable. no need to use it here.

Is the motherboard in Samsung NP530U4B-S02IN laptop SATA2 or SATA3?

prepare for windows 7
My partner has to move her machine to windows 7, from vista business. What would be the best way to prepare? Files and settings transfer or? Should I backup somehow the files and other important things like bookmarks and windows mail folder, to a usb hdd? Thanks
