I would set the value to 3 - not 0. I had the same problem when setting to AHCI (value 0) but when I reset to 3 it worked.
    value 3 means disabled
    value 0 means enabled

Don't know..should have written them down. I have more iastor values then you ask me for..see my attachment for the many iastor's..
I noticed in my bios is offers legacy or uefi..it's set for legacy. Would that matter?
I did try the above values you gave me above just now and it still doesn't boot. It says starting windows then a blue screen flashes for a fraction of a second the it goes to the black screen with "start windows normally, etc. and will keep trying again but it leads back to the black screen. When I take it out of aschi it works. I did a windows repair earlier and it found start up issues and fixed them. Must of been the aschi values I changed because I checked them and they were reset. But as I said I just tried the latest values you suggested.
I'm stumped good on this one. I'll be in bed in short order so i'll have pick this up again in the am.

Try to set iator to 3 and iastorv to 0.
reboot but don't change anything in BIOS. Does it boot?
If so.. post screenshot of "device management" again. Is "IDE ATA/ATAPI-controllers" in list, if so expand that branch
