Looking to buy a new monitor

    Hi all @ SevenForums

Im looking for a new monitor for my PC/Xbox 360 , about 2 months ago i tried the LG 23"inch IPS (not sure of model no ) anyhow it had backlight issues for me and also noticed that due to the age of my Graphics card (Sapphire Nvidia GT230) the monitor would correctly display my resolution and games would be laggy

Anyhow, please could you reccomend a monitor :)

    Cheers

    Alan

Hm Alan well if you don't want anything real fancy there are plenty of choices myself I like the Benq's and Philips screens with a leaning toward the BenQ EW2430V 24in Widescreen or BenQ GL2460HM 24in Widescreen or for gaming BenQ RL2450H 24in LED Widescreen Gaming Monitor the last being second cheapest.

My Philips 244E1 now probab;lly no longer available is brilliant and the new ones I have seen are jst as good.:)

I have a Samsung SyncMaster S24B300 and it's a great monitor for the price. They may have come down in price since I bought mine so they may well be having a scout around for.

Im very satisfied with my dual dell 23" IPS (u2312hm). I use it mainly for work (video and photo editing) & gaming. Dell has frequent discounts so check their deals from time to time.

Edit. After reading over your post, Im sure you'd require an monitor w/ HDMI which my u2312hm does not have. Ive heard many great things about Asus monitors.
