So a totally random time difference... even forward in time. Not an internet time server update problem.... that synchronize runs only once a week, so I don't expect a faulty timeserver (and you reset the time by synchroizing with a timeserver anyway to correct the issue).
No program in win7 resets the clock... unless done manually. Allmost sure it's a BIOS/CMOS issue. Replace CMOS battery |

I already replaced battery in Mobo, ... it is the same, Clock goes out of time in Windows 7 and OSX Lion... (hackingtosh)

ok RTC chip , I read already, how to fix this??? my motherboard is working excellent... only that the clock goes out... but the bios stays and Cosm all good and intact...

try Make Windows synchronize time more often
or How to Change the Time Synchronization Interval in Windows 7 or Internet Time Synchronization Update Interval if all else fails, try this free 3rd party resident sync tool to sync it at a time sequence of your choice: http://www.timesynctool.com/ i set it to resnc every 8 hrs. ![]() |
