    Keyboard not working at all

I was previously getting this error code 0101003 Keyboard not detected and my computer was getting frozen on start up and start up repair. I started my computer this morning and it started properly however my keyboard still does not work. I cannot access safe mode either so I cannot diagnose the problem. Do I have to get a keyboard plug it in then fix the problem or? Can the mods please lock my 1st thread since the problem I believe is related to a hardware problem (keyboard) sorry for the inconvinece.

Yes - borrow a new keyboard for this testing or buy a cheap one ($10 US).

What you can also do is call the manufacturer of your computer and ask them about the issue. If that doesn't work you can go on other sites and and look up the error code; if you are experiencing this issue, you are probably not the first.

    Hope is helps

Do you guys think it might be a problem with the wiring in the laptop that's affecting keyboard and the laptop?

When I click on the link named "My System Specs" in your posts, it states "PC/Desktop". I thought that we were talking about a desktop computer... but I should have remembered that the forum software defaults to that value. And I should have mentioned the on-screen keyboard. I've used it many times.

I'll see what other forum members say is your next step to try.

A quick update, my keyboard is working luckily, but it's not working properly. By this I mean I press a key like w and it will give me a 3 or a m. Does anyone know what causes this? Btw there was no problems with the malware scan either. Some keys don't display anything and others do.
