WIN7 Pro 64bit

I received and installed a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO.
The laptop certainly boots quicker as do my programs but web surfing seems to have slowed.
It appears to take longer to load Firefox and IE. There's a 3-4 sec delay after clicker FF/IE icons before it loads but once it starts loading, its nearly instantly up and ready. Is that normal? Its like the SSD is gathering all of the info before showing the program as opposed to loading the basic screen and then adding all of the components as it gathers the pieces.

Also, both FF and IE stutter when reloading. Either the program freezes completely or it freezes then loads a little then freezes then loads a little more then freezes then loads the balance of the screen. Its when surfing the web that I feel like the SSD is slower than my 5400 HDD.

Win7 64 Bit

I have the Pro 840 on my E6530 and have no issues with Chrome or IE 11 but I know your EVO has features to boost performance and mine doesn't so maybe one of those is giving you the issues. But first I would try to uninstall the programs then reinstall them as maybe the files are corrupted.
Use Revo to rid all traces of the uninstalled program.
