Try Fn-F5 (Function key + F5 key)...this should bring up the Wireless and Bluetooth power panel.

    I tried this - it didn't work.

Bought a Lenovo G550 recently. Bluetooth kept annoying me trying to get me to set it up - didn't think I'd ever need it, so uninstalled it just to shut it up. Now, of course, I find I really need it for a Bluetooth mouse. I downloaded the driver from Lenovo, double-clicked to install it and it comes back and says "no Bluetooth device detected." I have to cancel installation at that point. I went to device manager and it doesn't seem to list any Bluetooth hardware. I don't know how to reacquaint the machine with its Bluetooth!

Didn't know whether to resurrect an old thread or start a new thread with my first post.

I am a PC novice, and have recently decided i want to get to know my laptop better (after having had it for 3 years).

I have just installed the software to use my web cam (not that i intend to use it), and amongst other things I am looking to back up my pc for the first time.

To the point, I have read that ,y laptop (Lenovo G550) has built in blue tooth. However I have no idea how to access this. I tried to install drivers only to get the message saying 'no bluetooth device can be detected...'. I probably don't need bluetooth, but I want my laptop to be able to do what it should be able to do, so please can you help me? Do i need to download any other software first? How can I check if my laptop has bluetooth capabilities, as I am led to believe?

Pressing 'Fn' and 'F5' does nothing (I have NEVER used the Fn key before!!).
