Will it create problem If I expand C drive in windows7 with EASEUS Par

    Dear friends ,
I need to expand the volume of the C drive in my windows 7 laptop. When I bought it newly I was unaware that windows 7 have built-in provision in itself to do this work. Therefore I used EASEUS partition Master 5.0.1 Professional Edition to partition my drives as soon I purchased the laptop. It has C, E and F drives (Three drives). Now after few years I need more volume in my C drive. My other two drives have much spare volumes. But my doubt: Because both these software’s are there is it safe to use any one of the two to increase the volume of my C drive? Will there be a conflict between the two if I use one of the two methods to increase the Volume of C Drive? If there was only one out of the two software’s I would not have feared. But in this scenario is it safe to use one of the two? If there is no problem to use either of the two, which one is safer and better for this work?

Thanks for Your Help.I truly appreciate it.

It doesn't matter what you use!! You can win7 built-in disk management, EASUS, partition wizard.... every partition manager you want. Not all have the same capabilities though. For example win7 built-in disk manager can't shrink from the left side of volume.

What is the safest?? .... run the partition software from a bootable DVD so not from within win7. Win7 can crash otherwise!! Problems can always happen, no matter how good software has been programmed. For example a power failure.

So make a good backup anyway.

Increasing C is fast and easy and can be done safely in win7. But how to increase.... you have to shrink E first so C can be made larger.

Thank you so much Dear Kaktussoft

I really love it when I see helpful people like you.How wonderful the would would be if all love to help one another with what they can do. God bless you.Your answer also is very good. But may ask two clarification?

    1) How to shrink my E drive to expand C drive?
    2) You asked me to run the partition software from a bootable DVD and not from within win7 because Win7 can crash otherwise!! Hope you are saying about the EASEUS software and not about the Window software. Both of them are not in CD/DVD with me.Therefore I hope that the option to do it by shrinking the E drive is better as you also advised. But kindly please explain me how to do it in that way.I am so grateful to you.
    God bless you.
