Unknown dvd drive in Device Manager
I just discovered that in my laptop's Devise Manger, under DVD/CD-ROM drives there are two entries as follows: 1) FvFx CDDVDvx+tech-200 SCSI CdRom Device 2) TSSTcorp DVDWBD TS-LB23A I think TSSTcorp is my dvd drive. What's the FvFx? I wanted to uninstall it but I thought I'd better make sure it's not something important. I googled it and all I could find was tons of websites offering their drivers update service for FvFx CDDCD..... Any help would be appreciated.

To me it appears to be a virtual CDROM drive installed by some game/software you recently or in the distant past installed. Just brood on it.

You're right. After reading your comment, I googled some more and finally I found a webpage which lists registry entries left behind by a software called Farstone Virtualdrive Pro. I had uninstalled it a couple of years but didn't realize the garbage file it left behind. I have now uninstalled "fvfx CDDVDvx+tech-200 SCSI CdRom Devise" from the Devise Manager and I also deleted scores of its registry entries. For the sake of those who may encounter the same problem, I provide the link to the said website...
