windows detected a hard disk problem

the warning is obvious, drive nearing it's end. this pc is just one we do random things on, kiddos with games, youtube, non important things. there's really nothing I need backed up, I have the reinstall media on hand, as well as another drive. its WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM. ill change out the drive when it's completely dead, no big deal. for now, I'd like to just disable the error or warning message. gpedit is not available in this version of windows. how do I go about doing this? Like I stated, it's a non important pc, and i'll change the drive when it goes out for good. plus, I get to learn something new. thanks for looking.

Personally I think it a tad foolhardy mate to leave it until it is completely dead it is not out og[f the bounds of possibilities that it going kaput may interfere with other components.
