    Buffalo CD/DVD drive

I purchased one of these to replace a non-working internal one on my Acer Laptop.

Does anyone know where I can get a Manual.

In Particular I want to know how to play a CD which already contains normal photographs.

The Buffalo has lots of menu options connected with burning a CD/DVD but the word "Play" does not seem to be in its vocabulary!

If it's not a video CD, but a data CD then typically you just load the video file(s) in a player. Or if you have a player associated with video file types, just double click on a video file after opening the drive in Explorer.

Thank you for your suggestions "MilesAhead"

I found that my CD with photo's on it would not play on a DVD player.

I then uninstalled the software that came with the Buffalo Drive (Power2Go & instantBurn). Now I can play discs just using the Buffalo drive along with my free VLC media player for homemade or Commercial films. For viewing a disc with snaps on it I use the Buffalo in conjunction with "Windows Live Photo Gallery".
To insert new snaps onto a CD or DVD I use the Buffalo in conjunction with the W L P G to import the snaps from a camera SD card. Delete any unwanted ones, then find my new folder in "Pictures", right click it and SEND the folder to "D" drive (my Buffalo).
