Would I need to get a specific CMOS battery...

After a long time I was finally able to figure out the problem about My 9 years old Acer Aspire, turns our my CMOS battery is no longer in use. Now got a quick question for you , How much would it cost to purchase a new CMOS battery and does it have to be a specific CMOS battery or could it be any CMOS battery? The standard CMOS battery would be a lithium button cell, type CR2032. They usually only cost a few dollars for one. :)

Yes, CR2032 is what you want. Like Brink says, they are only a few dollars.

5 battery's for one EURO in The Netherlands. Most of the time you need a CR2032 (3V). Just remove the old battery and you see what you need

Hopefully it's the same as you've got in computer now. Why not get a real cheap one? 5 for 1 dollar is normal price
