youve asked a bit of an open ended question. it soley depends what you want to use it for. for €300 its fairly cheap considering it contains a core i5 processor. but if you intend to play games or do heavy video editing its not worth it as youd need alot more ummph.
lenovo make great laptops but their quality tends to lack in their cheaper models. had a fair few to fix where the outer case has cracked or the case clips have snapped ect. depends how much it will travel

I will not be using it for Gaming, video editing or traveling.
For the most part it will be my emergency machine for power outages and evacuations due to severee weather conditions. Also as a back-up for the main 'puter.

Personally I'm leery of refurb.'s but that's me. With a HDD that size you won't be saving or putting much on it. Good price.

Yes, the size of the HDD and screen concerns me. I believe it was a business machine.

Been looking at new machines now. Would like to get either i5 or i7 new gen. Haswell. Really want a 17" screen.
Lenovo's are on sale until the 8th.
The two I would choose from are the : 59400487-i5 or 59400467-i7.

Anyone have any pro's or con's ? Maybe a suggestion for another model or brand ?

It is an i5 and not an i3. At least we know that 3d generation works.
