Alesis Q25 MIDI keyboard Code 43

Hello I'm having some issues with my MIDI keyboard.

I use Ableton Live on my PC and I hook up a Alesis Q25 MIDI keyboard to it and I haven't had any issues using it until the last few days. Whenever I plug it in now it says the device isn't recognized and there's a Code 43 saying the device isn't working basically. There hasn't been any major changes with my computer over the last few days except that I got a new Logitech keyboard and mouse. So unless that somehow has messed with it then it happened randomly.

    Here are my specs...

    Windows 7 Home 64 bit

    ASUS M5A97 LE R 2.0

    AMD FX-4130 Zambezi 3.8GHz Socket AM3+ Quad-Core

    HIS iCooler H775FS2G Radeon HD 7750 2GB 128-bit DDR3

    Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM

    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB

    Rosewill Green Series 630 watt

I've tried to re-install the MIDI driver, I've tried updating my USB drivers, I've checked for driver updates on the MIDI keyboard, I've tried installing new mouse and keyboard drivers, I've tried using Ccleaner to clean my registry and I've tried different USB ports. So I'm stumped.

No one has been able to help me yet on other forums I've tried so hopefully you guys can help. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a home studio, using Sonar X3 (and ProTools).

When you reinstalled the MIDI driver, did you uninstall the old driver and restart the PC BEFORE reinstalling? If not give that a shot.

Another thing to try, connect the keyboard, go to the Device Manager and the device (with the error code). RIGHT click on the entry for the Device and then LEFT click "Uninstall". Disconnect the keyboard from the PC and then Restart the PC. After Windows starts, connect it and Windows should detect it and reinstall it as a "new" device.
