Windows 7: "Property Loss" message when transferring images to flash drive?

"Property Loss" message when transferring images to flash drive?

I've been transferring picture files over to my flash drive, and about a minute or so into every transfer I make, I randomly come across this message in the middle of the transfer:
"Property Loss" message when transferring images to flash drive?-copy-without-properties.png
(example image not mine--pretend this is an image file, not an email)

Not all images contain Properties data, so I am assuming this is why I hit the above message halfway into the transfer.

Does hitting 'Yes' actually cause images to degrade during the transfer, or is the transfer only stripping away the Properties/EXIF data contained inside the image? I am hoping to retain full image quality and dimensions while moving these files to and fro, but I need reassurance.

If I Recall Correctly, that happens because you are copying files from a NTFS file system to a FAT32 file system. The files are losing their NTFS properties.

For you this does not matter. The files are fine, the data intact. The only time you would run into a problem is if the file name or path was too long and even then it would just be truncated.

Thank you very much for the reply. I was hoping the files wouldn't be affected, your advice has calmed me down :)

Flash Drive USB error "Not Accessible" and "Needs to be Formatted"
So after my Period 4 class ended, I headed off to my spare class to work on some assignments on the Mac. My Flash Drive worked perfectly fine in, and before Period 4, then in Period 5 it wasn't working. On the Mac, during my Period 5, it said "Disk not accessible" with three options. I then tried...

Property "Title" in Pictures folder/library: more than one tag read?
On various pictures, I've seen it read the XMP "Title" tag, the EXIF "Description" or "User Comment" tag, the IPTC "Caption" tag, even Keywords or Sub-categories. So my question is, what's the limit to it all? I would think that "Title" would only display a metadata tag with a similar name, like...

Copy files and "property loss" message
I backup files monthly from my desktop computer to an external hard drive. In Windows XP, I copied files without difficulty. In Windows 7, however, when I begin to copy files, copying appears to stand still, and it appears that copying is estimated to take 11 hours or more. Then, after several...
