Ram failing to support my system.

Today my oc started slowing and freezing and I would reboot and it seemed fine again and then I ran some trouble shoots and my windows would tell me my system was fine and my comodo security scans said no virus or malware. S I started to dig a little further and ong the way got a mssg saying my physical memory was down to like 1.3gs and I have a 8g ram Lenovo y570 that should be fine I use an external hard drive for a lot if my files and data but it said that my hard disk had plenty of room in the property's menu of my windows c drive so I did not understand that was not my ram anyway I also was lead to an uninstaller I believe called perfect uninstaller as a way to remove deep files that were useless and I used it to remove custom themes that my windows uninstall would not allow even though I have admistror privileges but it was not removing the entire theme packs log on screen and then I was lead to check the event viewer and it said a group audit had been performed I don't know what that is about but it did not seem good. and now I'm running a ram test and can only start up in safe mode so im not sure what will happen next !

Slade mate you need to do this as it will not run from safe mode it does take some time and it is important you let it run at LEAST 8 passes any less and you are wasting your time as stated below if the errors come up straight away you can stop and then you will need to check the sticks individually.

    MEMTEST

https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html this one you will need to make a bootable disk set the BIOSto optical (or USB if preferred) boot the machine and let it run for at LEAST 8 passesunless the errors come upstraight away. Takes a fair time to complete and some leave it runningovernight.

If you do get errors and have morethan one stick then you will need to test each one separately and maybe even inthe separate slots.

I won't be able to get into reg mode when this is done so why don't I just do a reinstall I have all the disk from Lenovo it just seems like that would clean up my system to and get me back on reg mode I mean if I can't do this in safe mode then its pointless I can't get into reg mode so I'm about to throw the towel in

Probably the best idea and you will lose the bloatware form Lenovo Slade.
    See this I typed up

    REINSTALL

For installing I prefer a disk to be honest but if you want to try again this is the one to follow
CleanReinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 make sure it is the right version ie Home Premium or Ultimate whatever you have a code for and then the language and do not use the ones with a large "N" or"old" beside them.
You can use a disk or USB stick with this.

    Thank you so much ICit2lol!

That means so much to me that you went to alk that trouble to help be informed. I was so frustrated with this that I did not mention that my system crashed almost 2 months ago and Lenovo sent me the corecct Recovery windows install as well as 2 driver disk installs and the way thathad me iinstall was less as involved as that there is no other option on my system when I have to go into reboot recovery and when you choose where to load your recovery disk in the CD/bdrom drive when you are promoted to go ahead it tell that all your data will be deleted and then go. Well I already have the entire system backed up on my exy hard drive so I don't have to worry about loosening anything. But I will do my best to use the guide you provided although I got to say it is a little over the top of my head. I will try my best though but I have already emailed Lenovo and let them know that I might need to send it in to them so that it can be properly restored by a oroffesional and they can't say anything about me reinstalling the software they sent me not even 2 months ago. I paid them way to much money for them to say anything other than I will be happy to help sir hopefully any way. And plus I have an excellent security with Comodo internet security and geekbuddy they are paidvup until 2016 so I have them to watch my back as well. But still Iwill try to really focus on what to do as far as the install info you provided to me. I am a noob as they say so alot of it is hard fir me to understand and I do not have any oartitions made of drives i dont know howvto do that all though i wish i did becuase seems like it would be a good way to dedicated windows os to irs own area and not mixed with the rest. And as far as making a boot image i do not know at all how that is done. I am confident when it cone to installing a custom rom a phone a pc is a whole nother gig and i am already so wound and anxiety ridden over this happening for a second time so soon I jusr dont want to take to much on ya knowv. By the way the memtest86 is at 4 and error 0 so ya think i should keep letting it run or just GI for the install that is if I have it me I might should sleep before I take it on! Thanks again for all your help it really means alot to me!

well I went ahead and stopped the ram test and of course it did not start in reg mode so I just shut it down I guess I should let it rest it has been running hard for 10 hours it was at 4 and 0 errors when I stopped hope fully I will be able to learn a little from that that is if I should once I get it reinstalled check the flash drive if that is even where the results would be or would that be stored else where because if so iIthink that means iI wouldn't be able to see it because you said I couldn't check it in safe mode correct. And if it is not on the flash drive then it will be erased when I do the install oh well I don't know what to expect I'm pretty bumed ! Thanks again for kindness and help...... Take care and I will post my result ofmy install and what ever else come along with it.

So I wanted to say thanks again my PC is back and alive I did the best clean install I could and itvturn out kind of OK but I think some how my safe mode has been erased I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with that but there has got to be a way and I also thinking that I should partition my hard disk so windows can have a deticated file but I'm not sure exactly the way it should be done but we shall see thanks again!

Hmm you should have at least safe mode as it is the very basic filing system so run these

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html
see if there are any errors come up with them.
If you mean there were errors with the memtest they wouldn't be in the stick they show on the screen a bit like in the pic as the machine runs in the memtest boot up and Windows is not involved. Like I said the errors sometimes come up straight away other times it takes a lot of passes (the sticks are written to and then read in each block)

Safe mode can't be "erased". What exactly do you mean? Tapping F8 during booting should get you to an Advanced Boot Options menu to get into Safe Mode.

Don't mess with partitions unless you know the ramifications of that. w7 doesn't need a "dedicated file" but should run fine with a good install.
