AMD Radeon Dual Graphics
Yep
Well something is wrong as you should have a crossfire option listed under one of the tabs. Watch that video again and does the bios have a PCIe lane activate/disable option? Did the video card show under the bios?
All of it. You need AMD Dual Graphics, not Crossfire, that's for multiple discrete GPU cards. I thought it might get you in the right direction, I've never tried it.
To better help us to help you would you please add your systems specs? Here's the correct way to do it. :SystemInfo See Your System Specs Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built. Very important
Log in to Seven Forums and you will be able to transfer the info directly to the specs page in your profile from within the System Info app.
Your System Specs here.
After doing this your specs will be available in each of your posts.
Click on My system Specs in the lower left of this post to see how it should look.:)
Full instructions are in the tutorial.
In my bios I have dual graphics set to auto. Also in bios, pci lane or lan?
Posting your full system specs will hopefully allow someone with knowledge of AMD's dual Graphics scheme to help you set this up.
Looking over the AMD site that Britton30 posted a couple of things stood out:
According to the Desktop Dual Graphics table, an A8 APU should have an HD7560 or HD6550 on chip GPU, and only the Model #s 5600K and lower have these.
Those A8 APUs should then only be paired with only the HD6570 card.
(That is if I am reading that table right.)
You have an A8 6600K APU that has (according to that table) an HD8570K on chip GPU, that you are trying to pair with an HD6670 card.
Since that combination does not show up on the Dual Graphics table it could mean that this is not available to you.
You would need an A10 5800K or 5700K to pair with the HD6670 card (If I am reading that table correctly).
AMD has not made this information very clear to a novice. I am baffled by the concept of the system working with only some combinations of APUs and graphics cards. If that is true then why not sell them as a paired package?
