    Battery won't charge

Ok, i have an HP DV6-6145dx. My batteries won't charge (Aftermarket extended and original battery, nor anyone else's battery). The batteries will charge on other computers but not on mine. My computer will run on battery power and on AC power without the battery in. It really makes no sense to me why so if anyon could help it would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you in advance

How to fix “Plugged in not charging” problem in Laptops.
    Step 1: Shutdown Windows.
Step2: Disconnect AC Adapter from your Laptop.
Step 3: Remove Battery from Laptop and put aside.
Step 4: Now connect AC Adapter to Laptop and turn on your Computer.
Step 5: Now uninstall all Microsoft ACPI compliant and AC Adapter driver from Device Manager.
Step 6: Shut down your Computer and disconnect AC Adapter from Laptop.
Step 7: Insert the Battery in Laptop and connect the AC Adapter to Laptop.
Step 8: Now turn on the Laptop. All the Battery drivers will automatically install.
Step 9: Allow the Laptop to completely discharge your Battery at least 4 times. Let Battery cool down to normal temperature in between charges.
Step 10: Now use your Laptop normally.

    Hope this helps,
    John
