CPU-Z doesn't read my CPU frequency correctly!

Hi!I want to know why CPU-Z(1.68) doesn't read my cpu freq. correctly.I checked in my BIOS and it says as usual 3200 Mhz but CPU-Z says 1319 Mhz.

    Thanks for reading or reply.

What does cpu-z say when cpu is under load? Your processor may have some kind of speed control.

Your cpu does not run at full speed all the time, only when needed. It's called CPU frequency scaling, it enables the operating system to scale the CPU frequency up or down in order to save power. CPU frequencies can be scaled automatically depending on the system load, in response to ACPI events, or manually by user programs.
