No need to buy a new cable. Just a plug adaptor like this:

    Hello!

I have a lot of love for Lenovo's, why don't you check out their AIO's and desktops? They're reasonably powerful and the utilities they bundle with the OS are rather useful to say the least!

I already know about the plug difference because I bought the adapters beforehand.

Sorry. I don't really like their products. I will stay with Dell for now.

If you want certain things in your PC, have it built. I have bought several things from Directron.com - Your source for the best On Sale Computers, Refurbished Computers, Tablets, Apple Accessories, Clearance, Laptops, Electronics, all from Houston Texas - Directron and they have good prices. You buy the parts that you want, they charge about $75 to build it. They test it for you and ship to you. Just like buying one in the store, but it has everything that you want. Doing it this way will probably cost a bit more because of the labor fee and you also have to buy Windows 7.

That is not a bad idea. I shall retain that.

Sorry but I can't trust those companies because durning shipping, some things may get loose and broken or there may be driver problems.

It's academic taking about purpose built systems because you are clearly risk averse and there is nothing wrong with that. Mind you some of the big name brand OEMs don't have a great support record and they will typically use budget components.

Build it yourself and ship it yourself, better all around plus the learning skills and pleasure is nothing like a OEM store bought p.o.s.

He already said that he could not do that because he is mechanically challenged. He would not even venture to put an SSD into a Dell box. Building a whole system is a whole different story - not easy if you are not inclined to do it.
