hi i tryed to follow the guide archer posted to give the drive a letter but that option is greyed out the only options is help and delete that is not greyed out

Oh! you need to follow this tutorial then, Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command

Use command as admin.

Will my Toshiba Labtop run Windows 7?
It will NOT run Vista due to video drivers. My laptop has ATI Radeon 9000 video, and there is much discussion on the internet regarding Vista drivers, but, according to the manufacturer there will never be an Vista drivers for this chipset. I would really like to run W7 on this laptop though....
