This thing is crazy Ryan. I have all the board drivers on a stick and installed a USB3.0 driver I had missed, not it seems OK.

I also had the SSD in Rapid Mode which a Corsair guy on their forum said may cause issues with Link software, it shouldn't , but does. I disabled the Rapid Mode.

Further, I had the SSD connected to a Marvel SATA III port by accident. Switched to an Intel port and things run better.

    Thanks everyone for the help!

Yup, it's easy to trick my simple little mind too.

I think it's our (at least mine) nature when we make a mistake to repeat it over and over without realizing it.

I suspect the one who has accomplished the most, has made the most, and biggest, blunders.

    Are ye awake now?

Since you guys have install water coolers, in hindsight, is it easier to mount the water block or the rad and fans first?

    I'm getting there

I always install the rad first with my H100i.

    +10

Do rad first with AIO's. Every install is a little different due to layout. Some times it's easier to use a piece of wire and do a temp install on the rad, install the pump/cpu sink then finalize the rad/fans.
