    PC voltage: How to test

    Hello

I did try a software call Sandra from SisoSoftware: One of the test is testing the power supply. It show big variation from 10.5 to 18.9 Volt

    Is it normal?

Is there another software that I could use to monitor the voltage

    Hello SuperMicroUser

I got CPUID, but I don't see the voltage tester for the 12v

On the CPU tab, I see Core voltage: The value oscillate between 0.864 and 1.032

This is a good tutorial for testing a power supply.
You need to own a multimeter.

This would be my first choice for real time measurements, I also carry in my repair kit this power supply tester as well.
