Yeah HP says that in their service and owners manuals too, always it's "HP Spare Part No. xxxxxxx" If it's spare it should be free, right?

Seriously you should demand a refund for the unusable board. The deep groove is enough evidence and should not have been sold.

Thanks I am working on that.

Are you able to diagnose and find cause of BSOD with SF diagnostic error dump files?

I have this thread is that section, but nobody seems to be answering since yesterday

No, I'm not on the BSOD team, but I'll ask for someone to have a look. They are very busy so it could be a day or three.

There were no dumps in your zip file. I did notice two AVs running. This can sometimes cause a problem. And it will definitely slow your system down. You also have something similar to Daemon tools that often causes a problem. (I got curious after seeing five DVDs on a laptop.) I think it's Magic ISO or some such. Without the dump(s), that's just a guess but it's a place to start.

As far as the label, I wondered about that. Apparently, they expect frequent repairs. HP does have a parts list.

Not sure how I ended up with that. I just did a grab from SF diagnostics and gave me 3 .dmp files

I just ran CCleaner for registry, I hope it didnt wipe the error logs

That one has 3 dumps in it, but I can't read them. Someone will be along.

The memory is fudged, those contacts are damaged beyond repair.

Bro man over in electronic junk pile land isn't agreeing to a refund so I'm working with alixpress to get a refind now...

This how he sends me confirmation the board was working before it left their warehouse...any idea what I'm looking at here and what exactly is that on the left connected to the power supply??

I would certainly give them a bad rep on eBay and let them know he's fraudulent. Looks to be a Chinese crook from the scrawls on the tape on the front of the table.

From what I see in the picture the board isn't even connected to power, and he's got the monitor hooked to another machine out of the picture.
