    Ghost Keyboard

Have tried both a PS2 and a USB keyboards, both doing or actually the same.

    Some facts:

    1. Microsolf multimedia 1.0A PS2 and Raygo USB, at start up both do not allow typing of anything
    2. Both seen in Device Manager, with up to date driver and "working properly"
    3. Have restarted after uninstalling and they reload perfectly

Driving me crazy ....... They are being blocked somehow

    Thanks for any suggestions

    What is the problem exactly?

Do they not function at all during boot or when Windows loads?

Is this something that has just occurred?

Just occurred after deleting Nod32 and then installing AVG and Malwarebytes. Now none of the keys work at any time, somehow both the PS2 and the USB keyboards are being blocked even though the Device Manage show as properly working, but neither function.

Are you able to get into safe mode or the BIOS?

Can get into Safe Mode but with same results. PCcopter thanks for your time, but I'm going the route of a new install. I have tried 23 "solutions" no luck, just too time consuming. Take care and have a good day.
