all my case fans suddenly just died

    Hi,

I got my computer back from a friend but i noticed the case fans weren't working. I sent him a txt and he said it was working fine when he had it and my brother said it suddenly stopped working when he was on it so i'm guessing it didn't die due to my friend cleaning it for me.

Only the CPU and GPU fans are running. I have a fan on the side panel wall, back, top and one in front.
The side panel fan works when i connect it to the motherboard and not the power supply.

The back and top fans dont work at all and they are connected to the motherboard via the 4 pin connector? 4 holes made to a square(hope you can understand this).

    oo
    oo <- like this.

the front and side fans have both oooo cord or ... (3 pin?)

This PC is custom built but the place i bought it from did it for me so everything is neatly done and i cant rearrange most things without cutting the tags that are holding the wiring.

I dont know where to go from here so I need some help.

Heres a link to some photos imgur: the simple image sharer

Pic 1 shows back and top fans not running.

Pic 2 just shows the side fan

Pic 3 dont know if you can see it properly but usually the side fan cord connects to the cord labelled "1" and that cord is connected with the front fan aswell which then is connected to the power supply.

pic 4 just general pic of my comp.

The top fan looks like the one blade is blocked by those yellow wires...

Please fill out your system specs so that we can look up the relevant information on your system.

One or more of the pins in the primary Molex "oooo" connector may have gotten pushed out of the rectangular connector box proper. Check to make sure all four pins at the end of the wires are all the way up into the connectors.

They were never connected in the first place though

Connection could have been dislodged during moving.

Have you followed the cables back to the connection that connects to the PSU?

It does sound like all fans are on the one molex connection.

It was working fine then suddenly the fans stopped working and I've checked the connections.

The cables are hard to manoeuvre around because they go in and out of some metal L shaped frame around the motherboard and the PSU has a covering except for a small circle for all the cords to come out of.
