Computer Switches to IDE Drive at Random - Shuts Down Computer

I've run into an odd problem, that I've been experiencing the past two weeks. At random my computer will freeze up, the monitor will turn off and the computer beeps. The motherboard fires back an error code: 75 Detect HDD IDE device detection. My Windows boots on an SSD drive, what is happening is the boot order is being rearranged, rearranging it back everything works.

Why is the computer while using it, switching to an IDE drive at random ?

Maybe the ide drive is failing in a circuit board, the bio detects that and shuts it off, or windows shuts it down.

Test another drive or take it out and see what it does.

I believe that error code is generic - the use of IDE refers to all drives, even SATA. I don't think it indicates that the mode is switching.

One of your drives is failing. Could be a bad connection, bad cable, or a bad drive.
You should test each drive one at a time by disconnecting it and testing to see if the condition disappears. Don't forget the optical drive. It is actually a prime suspect.

Then test the cables by switching them from drive to drive. The point is to isolate the problem.

Even SATA, ouch which means the actual SATA drive that windows boots from could be dying. I'll create another back up and proceed from there.
