    So should I buy 2x8 GB ( dual channel ) or 2x8 GB ( quad channel )
Both configuration of RAM will have 2 sticks of 8 GB each. Dual channel will cost me 15 USD less.

Dual for that motherboard. 1.5 volt. 240 pin DIMM. For your budget, get 1600 speed. Don't get 204 pin. Don't go above 1.5 volt.

No need to get fancy RAM with heatspreaders, etc. Just basic stuff.

I just built a killer mini-ITX build with a 3750k i5 and 2x8gb Team Xtreme ram at 2400mhz. Let me tell you this rig is blazing fast with its XFX 7870 gpu. Built mine in a BitFenix Prodigy case. The Team ram was cheap and extremely well made......love them !

I would go with the G.SKILL Performance RAM series or if too expensive, the value series.
