Well, I just installed FSX and apparently it has to disable AERO and the Win7 colors change to basic and whatnot and my whole screen goes shattered and I can't even read anything while in the game/program. Any further thoughts??

Have you got anyone who can test your graphics card on their machine?
Your card could be fried.

Wierd i have tried windows 7 on the same graphics card as you have..
The only thing is what i did when i installed W7 was rushed to the nvidia website and downloaded the latest series 7000 drivers.

The only problem i was experiencing was a verry slow FPS since 7 didnt really supported my videocard i guess. So if you want to play games with it your out of luck

I have not tried this card on another machine yet, I'll have to do that.

And yes, there is a new drive for this card for Windows 7, unfortunatly, my computer still does the same thing. And when I updated to that new driver, the computer would start, show the desktop, then flash a black screen for a second or two and then the dektop would reappear.

Well, I have figured out it is a driver problem for sure. I tried 182.5. It works except for 2 problems. It first off-sets my screen so I have to adjust the monitor to center the screen, then when I try to start flight simulator x, it has a pop up stating that it cannot run due to shader effects and video card requirements and then it is forced to exit.

Right now, I am on 178.24 and it has the same problems as before, but the screen position does turn back to normal. So we at least narrowed it down to a driver problem. It's funny how microsoft says this video card is compatible with windows 7 and that I do not need to download a driver. O well, I guess I just have to keep searching unless someone else can chime in.

Also, FYI, I have the AGP graphics card, NOT PCI, I've been reading that makes a big difference with the drivers.

I also have the exact same problem, with almost the same graphics card, namely geforce 7600 GT AGP instead of the GS version. I am running windows 7 RC.

I have the same problem, with Windows 7 only, never with an older OS. The screen looks shattered (as if the same garbage gets repeated on the screen) and the computer hangs... Did you come up with any solution?

I have GeForce 6150 integrated on the MB. Tried every driver I could...never fixedit..

Do the cards work with another system? Could be damaged hardware.

OK I solved it!! Has nothing to do with the driver. Even works with an old driver. What I did is I dropped the CPU multiplier from x11 to x10 and the problem never happened again!! So I have my CPU at 2000MHz instead of 2200MHz.

You think that makes sense? WRONG!! Read the following:
Configuration that had the problem:
CPU core clock 200MHz, multipiler x11, CPU freq 2200MHz, CPU FSB 200MHz, Hypertransport CPU 1000MHz, Hypertransport MCP 800MHz.

Dropped multiplier to x10 and fixed it. Then I overclocked the core clock to 220MHz and everything continues to work NORMALLY. So the new working configuration:
CPU core clock 220MHz, multipiler x10, CPU freq 2200MHz, CPU FSB 220MHz, Hypertransport CPU 1100MHz, Hypertransport MCP 880MHz.

1 day working fine with no crash and no shattered screen!!
Just to remind you that the problem occured only with Windows 7 and never with another OS.
