Problems setting up RAID

Typical narrow minded view, "probably", well guess what, the issue still occurs on new Gigabyte motherboards.

I'm not sure if you care about the Internet since it's been around much longer than 3 yrs, but on the Internet posts stay around for a long time so other folks can benefit from the productive comments of the group. Your comment is completely unproductive which is hopefully not but "probably" indicative of your propagation ability.

I wasn't trying to solve the current post's issue. I was trying to add an important detail to the post to try and help someone else now or in the future. You should try it sometime but start with yourself. You need help.

Thank you, skunk182! I was going to wait 3 more years to reply to this (lol), but instead I decided to thank you now. I'm on a Biostar motherboard but your solution worked for me. The 64-bit driver gave me the unsigned error, but the 32-bit driver worked fine and I was still able to install Windows 7 as 64-bit! Hope this solution helps others in the future.

The 32 bit version of the SATA driver did not work for me. (I am not installing a RAID set up, just regular SATA drive in a Dell Latitude E6320 laptop). I am also trying to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on a new hard drive and do not have the origial Dell Windows CD.

I have now tried both 32 bit and 64 bit SATA drivers (pre-OS versions) downloaded directly from the Dell website and I am still getting the same error:

"To continue installation, use the Load Driver option to install 32-bit and signed 64-bit drivers. Installing an unsigned 64-bit device driver is not supported and might result in an unusable windows installation"

I am able to see the driver exe file and extract in with the wizard when booting up and I can then see the ini files but when I try run them I get the same error above. URGENT. Please help!!!!
