Very carefully remove the screws from the four corners of the fan and gently remove it .. preferably after its cooled down....

LOL I knew this was you when I saw the thread.

You see the things on the side? Use a flat-head screw driver, push down on them and move them outwards at the same time. Don't break it though

Give me a second to get a picture of what I mean

there arre a few different methods. some have springloaded clips that need to be squeezed togeter. Some have screws. some other methods.

You might want to check the mobo web site and do a google for you mobo. Might help.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

Good Luck

lol, that's the one I'm having trouble with. I push down on it with a flat head screw driver and then move it forward and it's released?

@above, I will eventually replace the cpu, but I already know how to do that. :P

Sorry, I didn't look closely enough.

1. Remove the screws that are circled in red (view the image full size to see clearly).
2. Pull the switch circled in green, to face the opposite direction then it is now.
3. If it still doesn't come off then try removing the screws circled in blue.

Odd, look like screw holes. Try pulling the lever then.
