    High CPU temp?

My CPU normally is at about 32-35F.

It is now at 42- 48F.

Nothing is running other than browsers.

    Cause for concern?

I'd be mildly concerned. Only mildly. Those temps are many degrees below max and the PC would likely run many years at those temps.

Has your ambient temp changed from what it was when you show 32-35 degrees?

Are you sure all of your fans are running at the expected RPM?

Have you confirmed temps with some other tool?

Since my post, the CPU temp has dropped to 37F.

Prior to my post I did check it with other tools.

Ambient temp is higher than normal in my den - guess I'll get a nice big free-standing fan. LOL

Yeah, it's the warmest day of the year so far in most of the western US; my AC kicked in today for the first time.

It is very smart of you to watch your temps and notice the slight change. Those temps are not dangerous, but by creeping up could point to some things. ( Could very well be just the ambient increase)

When was the last time you cleaned out your case. Getting rid of dust and good cable management helps airflow and yields better temps.

I was rearranging my internal drives today, and probably fooled with some of the cables.

I'll do a full cleanup tomorrow.

    Thanks for the reply.:)
