Connect Samsung Galaxy tab3 to Win7PC

    Connect Samsung Galaxy tab3 to Win7PC


    Bare with me u guys. I'm a little lost with this Android stuff. Trying to connect the tablet via USB the PC alerts "not recognized". Win 7 can see my mobile via bluetooth but not this android.

    Just want to transfer some files over to the android.

    Help.

    As i recall the Tab you have to use a LINK via Computer to tablet there is a App on there that does it i forgot what it is but in order to get files and stuff to transfer it's pretty much a internet Sync to the PC

    Via Bluetooth or the App they provided

    You probably need Samsung USB Drivers installed. You can get those by installing Samsung Kies on your PC, or by installing a package from here. I prefer the latter since I don't use Kies.

    Also, your device will probably be connected as a Media Device (Not as an external SD Card). I find that a little slower but in my experience, I needed a custom kernel to access my external SD via USB.

    You are correct the Hard drive will show up in the Window media player as a device

    No worries mate. It is almost 2AM there. At that time, my brain will be at 5% or so :)
