I have the same problem. Dell inspiron win 7 home premium 64bit. Last week tried to connect galaxy (Android) tab to copy files. Done this many times before no problems. But now the tab is not recognised (still charges). Yest tried other Android phones same problem. Reinstalled drivers and restarted multiple times w no success. Upon checking driver installation status, showed installing HP B110 (my printer), which failed. Puzzled but thought Ok, I'll unplug my printer USB and while I'm at it unplug all USB devices, the only other one was the wireless keyboard n mouse USB. Ran reinstall Android drivers and got Err msg for printer AND wireless keyboard and mouse. All failed. Now the bloody keyboard n mouse don't work. Ran hardware device troubleshooter many times. Same Err, can't find driver for printer (which still works Btw) and installation failed for wireless keyboard and mouse. Tried to reinstall keyboard and mouse driver from device control panel, and got the Err msg 'windows found software for your device but couldn't install it. USB composite device. Access denied'
Can't use keyboard or mouse. The pc is touchscreen hah

Yes!!! It works! After installing and running the 3 spy/mal/ad ware removal tools I could install the driver
without any problem and my wireless keyboard and mouse works! Joy!
Will try the Androids tmr. Looks like it was some mfkg malware that wasted half a day of my life.

No legend mate just an ordinary pleb LOL!! the ADW probably was the one that sorted something.
They are worth keeping as on call scanners anyway and using on a say a weekly basis - most of us do.

    Hey all,

Sorry I've been busy the last few days; I haven't tried your solution yet ICit2lol but I should be able to tomorrow. I just wanted to check in now so you all know I haven't disappeared. Judging by the responses, it's looking like it may be a winner, so looking forward to trying it.

UPDATE: It works! I used every link you sent ICit2lol and scanned with all those methods, restarted, downloaded the drivers and voila. Thank you so much; you actually are a legend.

Anyone have any good recommendations for free webcam recording software?

Ok mate you might try uninstalling the Malwarebytes and reinstalling it - probably just a glitch with the first install usually it is trouble free.
Having said that it is not essential but a lot of us use this on a regular basis so handy to have.
There are other security runs that are good too but they are for when MBAM (Malwarebytes) don't find anything.

But pleased I could be of some assistance post anytime if you get into strife:)
