WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostics: Too many bad sectors detected

    I have same problem here on my WD Passport HD... I had an old one though 250gb.. Its been 6hrs now when i started the write zeros using the WD Lifeguard DiagTool I just hope it will help.. Is there anything we can do so solve this issue?I just want to format this so i can use this again.

    nope sir. i've waited 7 hrs then a message poped up and says bad sector continue? when i click ok another come up.. i clicked ok for i think more than hundred times for about 10 minutes but still coming then i just click cancel..

    If the short test failed and the extended Test also failed and write zeros struggles forever, the drive is a goner. Give up.
