Problems using the default Windows bluetooth manager

Hello,

I'm trying to connect a bluetooth sensor to my laptop, which uses Windows 7 Professional. Using the default Windows bluetooth manager, I've added the device without using a paring key (as instructed by the device's manual).

Until here there's not a problem.

When I try to run an application which uses the device, Windows informs me that there's a device trying to connect to my computer, and asks me for the pairing key.

Since I've already added the device to my computer, why does Windows doesn't recognize it? Why does it treat it as something new?

(It's not an hardware problem, I've tried using a dongle with the Windows default bluetooth manager, and I had the same problem)

Hi,

Yes I did, by installing the default drivers for my Bluetooth device. They come with an application to better manage everything. :)
