32 GB flashdrive became 8 MB in size after format.

I have an issue and I hope someone can help me. My 32 GB flashdrive shrink and it became 8 MB in size. Tried the Fat32formatter but was prompted to a message partition collapsed. Checked the disk management but there is no unallocated size. Also tried the disk part but only one disk is being recognize when I type list disk. See attached picture below. Does my 32 GB flashdrive have any chance to restore back to it original size?

Is it a new pen drive you bought because at 32 GB it came so cheap? If so, you purchased a fake.

This is not a new one. I bought it a year ago.

I would try and format it again. As far as I know their is no such thing as a 8mb flash disk. If it wouldn't format to proper size and it is not encrypted I would be replacing it.

If it is only a year old , you can check with Kingston Tech Support on the possibility of getting a replacement under warranty.

I tried all the possible way to format it a couple of times but still it won't back to it's original size. Is there any other solution for this before I replace it with a new one?

    A couple of thoughts.
Windows 7 must see the flash drive formatted to the correct size to make it work with Windows.

If it is that hard to get Windows 7 to see the full size do you really want to trust the flash drive with your data.
