    Hp Pavilion dv9000 wont boot


    hey guys i own a hp pavilion dv9000 (2008)......for the past few weeks it wont boot or even show any signs of booting .......i had given it for service when this happened the first time...but it repeated very often and i had to give it for service very often ......at last those technicians said tat there is some major problem wih the motherboard but arent clear about the problem....
    Further Details:
    Motherboard: 441534-001
    Processor: AMD
    GPU: nvidia geforce 7600
    OS: Win 7 -64 bit
    Ram: 4GB
    ITS NOT UNDER WARRANTY.......
    Should i change my motherboard now or do u think there would be any other minor problems that can be looked upon.....pls help

    Changing the motherboard on a laptop is not really an option. Cost wise it will probably be about the same as buying a new laptop.
    I have had laptops labelled dead by repair shops when all that needed doing was to re seat some connector. Link to video on how to take the laptop apart https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOdmGuiq1l8
    Fair warning: it's going to take MUCH longer than the 15 min of the video to dismantle it and putting the thing back together is tedious and delicate work
