not able to make sdcard pendrive bootable

Want to install Windows 7 ultimate 64bit in Windows XP sp3 32bit.
My DVD writer is not working. I have 8gb sdcard inserted in card reader and using them as a pen drive.
I am not able to make sdcard pendrive bootable.
    Already wasted 3 days.
Please help me. i would be very thankful.

    Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

    easy guide to follow.

it maybe a compatability issue. ive achieved it myself with a card reader, but I cannot account for every card reader/card.

Your system may not support USB booting if it was made for XP.
