    Connect computer to TV

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong forums. So, I would like to connect either one of these computers to my TV. Note that the desktop would require a wireless connection.

    Desktop Outputs: DVI, HDMI, MDP
    Laptop Output: VGA
    TV/VCR Inputs: RCA, SVideo, RGB

So as you can see, noyhing is in common, and there are way too many types of video connectors XD.
Anyway, what's the cheepist (or free) way to do this?

One other thing I would like to say is that I have an old, slow Windows XP desktop that has SVideo out, and I can use that to connect to the TV. It is not fun to use, but if there is some way to use it as, say, a remote desktop client (I have yet to find one with decent speed even across intranet) that would work too. Side note that I tried Ubuntu on it but it doesn't work because Ubuntu hates the graphics card. Any suggestions?

Quadplax mate why don't you get an adaptor for the HDMI to Svideo for the desktops the laptop is another kettle of fish but you can get VGA to Svideo adaptors the wifi is going to be the problem.

There are stacks of adaptors on EBay for instance and like I said the wifi is going to be hard to find something that will foot the bill. But a Google for this did bring up some options
    "wireless to svideo adapter".
