    disk 1 is unknown, not initialized, unallocated.. plizz help
    I already use PhotoRec recovery but "disk capacity not correctly detected"
    Disk 1 = seagate 500Gb hdd

    Start with this free tool. You should try to recover the partition before worrying about recovering the data. If you can recover the partition, the files should be OK if they haven't been over-written.

    Best Free Partition Manager Freeware and free partition magic for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista and Windows XP 32 bit & 64 bit. MiniTool Free Partition Manager Software Home Edition.

    Select Partition Recovery Wizard. Choose the drive, then full disk, quick scan. Quick Scan may take 5 or more hours.

    If the partition is eventually found, select and double click on it. You should then see all files in the Explorer.

    Your snip has no Disk 1, what is Disk 2?

    Sorry I was wrong.. . Problem on Disk 2 (Disk 2 is hardisk 500GB but Detected
    Capacity only 3.86 GB).
    Disk 1 is fine, no problem..

    Partition Wizard shows your disk as BAD Disk. IMO, it is dead. That is why even PhotoRec did not work.

    To confirm run Seagate's Seatools for Windows. If it confirms that the disk is bad, initiate RMA if it is within warranty.
