    PC wont detect android

Today I tried to connect my LG 880 to my PC with win 7. The PC dosnt detect the android. Tested it on another PC with win 8, it worked then. Tried to connect a samsung S3 to my PC, that wasnt detected either.
This have never been a problem before on my PC earlier. Also tried different USB cords( all works on the PC with win 8), the USB-symbol appears on the android and in settings for USB on the android "media-sync" is chosen, which is correct when connecting the android to a PC. I tried to connect a philips mp3 player, that has minu usb, not micro usb as the androids I tested. The MP3 player was detected. Some help about why not the androids cant be detected and some advices how to fix it would be great

You could try searching your PC manufactures site for updated USB drivers for your system.

Also, could you fill out your specs please?
Here's how: System Info - See Your System Specs
Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built.

Log in to Seven Forums and you will be able to transfer the info directly to the specs page in your profile from within the System Info app.
After doing this your specs will be available in each of your posts. Click on mine in the lower left to see how it should look.

Called the shop where I bought my PC 4-5 years ago, they told me to I may have to reinstall windows 7. A windows 7 update may be the reason why any android phone are recognized. They charge, but thats it. Does the update make sense or maybe there is another solution? Tried to download driver for my LG 880 android today, but that didnt help

Leave the phone plugged in and then do a windows update and see what pulls up? I trust you read and did install the recommended items below?

LG P880 Support: Find Manuals & Warranty Info | LG UK

    Then hit software and updates.
