can you use an XP Print Driver in Windows 7

    Hi all!
I have a Brother label maker, model P-touch PC and Brother has no plans to make a Windows 7 print driver for it. I had the thought that if I did an installation and told windows 7 to install everything in XP service pack 2 mode that maybe this would work? Or does someone know of a driver that can be used?

    Thanks, Ed

In the past some Vista drivers worked in Win7, just make sure you get the bits right, do they have such?
Not sure about your plan, but you could try running Virtual xp, but in the end the most effective action may be getting new printer or find some old XP PC nobody wants.

Check the Brother web support page for the label maker, they may have a generic driver for use with w7.
Using a compatibility mode may work, it's a 50/50 chance.
