    Yep CG got it as I said I am not much good with this stuff in general and saw that as two separate devices

    You're right. There still is another driver error associated with CD/DVD. But i'm only addressing the cause of the issue raised by the OP. Don't know how that other error might be affecting the CD/DVD device.

    I found a restore point and went back and fixed the font issue that way.
